I KNOW, I KNOW, I KNOW!

This week was extremely screwed.

Ministry of Education (MOE) screwed me 2 times in a row. My results form A and my JAE. Well, i went down MOE like 2 times to get things settled. Bah! Total wastage of time.

I was extremely busy, with work and play. It's just literally playing. Argh!

So let me share something bout PINEAPPLE FRIED RICE.
Bro and I observed how they cook from A to Z. Somehow it's zzzzzzz!

Quote from bro's blog:

Went to Starbucks with Shamus yesterday. Observed LXXX-Thai re-using the Pineapple in for teh Pineapple Rice.

They just washed the pineapple and stored it inside a cupboard, before taking it out and re-using it once someone orders pineapple rice again.

Pineapple RICEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Well, this is so totally, erm wth? We did observed many other things and laughed spastically over it. I guess those people at Starbucks thought that we're crazy? Seriously, it was damn FUNNY!

Before eating at that restaurant, please do observe how they do it from the top and reconsider about it. However, i guesss the fish balls and stuffs are more safer to be consume.

Okay, Weixian loves to eat that. HAHAH! Especially in those re-used Pineapples (Which looked like a coffin. LOL!)

I happened to watch my class grad video again. It's damn nostalgic! =(
For those who did well, tell yourself well done.
For those who didn't, don't worry. i believe that you'll be better in the future. Perhaps, for some, not academically inclined.

For everyone! Jiayou! =D

GCE 'O' Level 2008 Results Release - EVE!

About less than a year ago, i went through this moment before.
However, that is only for a single subject.

Today, i'm back to a situation. Which is even more tense as it will determine the first step of my future and my life. Totally, its freaky and stress.

I pray, I hope or I think. Which one will it strike on.

Tomorrow is the day, which is about less than 15 hours away.
All results are printed, its all inside the envelope and result slip.

All the best candidates.

Take in a deep breath.

All before the storm is calm. My eyelid is twitching. Isit a premonition of something bad? Argh!

Singapore Technologies Kinetic

As many of ya know that the results is round the corner, i had decided to take a break from job. I quitted my job as of today. If you're wondering why, the main reason is that i want to take a short break before i resume any other jobs. I had been since working from the following after my Os, till now, the result release. It had been very hectic. I woke up at 0600hrs everyday, rushing to board the train before 0640hrs, if not the chances are that i would be late as the official timing is 0730hrs. If you don't know, i work at STK, 5 Portsdown Road. Train to Dover and bus there. Thinking that i need not travel such distances now, i felt absolutely relieved. Whee!

It had been a real hectic and lethargic-ness, i pulled myself out of the bed, when i don't even wake up that early during an O level paper. It is a common scene of 'sardine packed train'. Even at 0640hrs, the train arriving upon Woodlands is packed with people and just more people. As well as my journey home, it is even more crowded!

Till today, 09/01/2009, i made this decision to leave the company. It wasn't a rash decision, i had a hard time coming with this. To be honest, the pay isn't bad, the job isn't too arduous, the people are friendly and warm but i still decided to let it go. It's just sooner or later as i'm only a temporary staff.

Although i seemed to the be youngest in the entire Portsdown. My generation gap with the aunties and uncles ain't very much of a difference. I'm able to communicate with them and we all got along well. Everyday, i observed how those people work. They can communicate in all sorts of languages, from English to Chinese to Malay and even dialect. Woohoo. They're really good. One of them can speak chinese and hokkien even though his an Indian. Wow. Amusing

Being a student, i'm practically tasked to any jobs around. Sort of ja-pa-lang kind, from receiving, issuing, stock taking, consignment checking and even distributing of diesels. Trained to do most of the storekeeper's job though i'm posted as an Admin Assistance, exhausting but fun. Haha.

I enjoyed myself for the past 7 weeks. Initially, it was quite dreadful and me wasn't really looking forward to it and after i clinged with those people, i find that they are quite funny and interesting. Well, you can see many office politics and drama, just like watching TV shows.

Still remembered 7 weeks ago, i whined in the warehouse almost everyday. Complained about the toilet, the weather, the amount of dust and anything. Till now, i learnt many lifeskills, some which are essential for the future. Thus, i was really sort of liking the job as each day went by. I wanted to quit long ago, but then aunty always advise me to work longer, for more money. Which i agreed to and finally stayed for 7 weeks till today.

The canteen there is cheap and being a noodle freak, i eat it almost everyday. Haha! It's quite cheap at certain times and can be rather costly as well. But the portion is huge. Ahha!

Today, i bought 20 curry poks for all my fellow friends, as a small token of appreciation to everyone in the warehouse, including the QA people. They all took care of me very much, taught me anything and everything. Shared jokes, stories and cheap lobangs [sales etc]! Haha! They are simply great people.

Received many goodluck wishes today, for the upcoming results on Monday and for my future endeavour. I seriously appreciated from the bottom of my heart. Especially Aunty Serene and Sally, whom shared many life stories, tips and treats with me everyday during Lunch. Mr Seow, who always refrained from doing dangerous job and many more. Also, to Ignatius who had gotten me this job. [Well, the chances of them reading this is absolutely null, but still it's okay.]

I left today, with a very sad feeling, i thanked almost anything which i could, the flowers and fishes etc. They kept me entertained throughout my days there. Hard feeling and nostalgia when the people shook hand with me. I felt teary and touched. Separation will come, but i guess, as my first official job, it really brings me lota memories and experiences which will follow me throughout my life.

Once again, i thank everyone, who made my job at STK so easy and wonderful. The people who came down for diesel everyday and those warehouse frequents. I hope that there will be still a chance for me to visit ya all. =)

I will visit them, if i can and when i'm free.

Of course, the above are only the positive memories. Haha!

GCE 'O' Level 2008 Results Release Day Date [UPDATED]

<---

A new time has been updated. Private Candidates had received their notification for JAE Pin to access to the result. Thus, the day shouldn't be too far away. Let's just place it on 12 Jan 2009.

It seemed like SEAB/MOE haven't decide an actual date for the result but not to worry. I'm certain that it will be out before 19 Jan 2009.

For the actual date, please take note via the printed, online and screen media. I guess when the actual date is out, it will be a hot topic in town.

Oh, by the way,
Happy 2009!

Reviewing 2008.

This year, i had decided to try something more special and significant. Rather than those yearly thanksgiving. I'll be doing thi 2008 of memories before moving on into 2009. For the last 366 days, it had been both good and bad, but pulled through the bad and enjoyed the good. Afterall, it's hoping that 2009 will be even a better year.

2008 is an extremely busy year. So let's do some recalling on the happy and cool moments!

Started to 2008 with a big bang, counted down at ECP with my friends, totally fun!

I achieved my first distinction in GCE 'O' Level 2007 for Mathematics, which i was super elated on that day. I jumped into joy and almost tears, afterall, hardwork are worthwhile!

Birthday, i still remembered the Umbro gang came to do a surprise for me. The bangala joke. Hee~!

I started getting the hang on rubic cubes, a virus from Tan WL~ After many confusing twist, turn and some throwing, i finally solved it.

Dunked more than 50times by the Umbro gang in CHR Carnival 2008. Ahhz!

Tried to be funny by adoring Mas Selamat~

After which, shifted to the Mac community by poisons from JW, Seryang and CHR. Argh!

Stepped into VJC to support Weiliang and Seryang for East Zone CO Concert. Hey, VJC is uber cool.

Became a short term CO freak by going to watch WL and SY school's CO concert.

Went crazy in Finding nEbO~

Pushed someone into the pool in Rasheed's chalet at Amara Sentosa.

Design teeshirt for my school's CO! =D  [Actual product differs]

Was kind of bonkers when i got into DPA, passed the interview but i withdrew after all the troubles. Haha!

Named as CHR Top 'N' Level Scholar for 2007 in 35th Speech Day. =x

Attended NDP08@MarinaBay with JW and WY.

I completed my first 10km run in Safra AHM within 1hr 7mins.

Completed my 2nd 10km run in Nike Plus 10k Human Race for 1hr 3mins.

Ran my 3rd 10km run for SwingKPE, but i didn't take note of the time.

Participated in the inaugural F1 Singapore GP at MarinaBay Street Circuit.

Failed English oral for preliminary exam for the first time ever in my life. HAHA!

Wrote a valedictory speech and for the first time, gave a speech through the mic, to the graduating cohort. I was scared, trembling but my classmates gave me the encourages and applaud which boosted my moral to finish the speech.

Declared a war with GCE 'O' Level. Ahhz!

Officially working part time for the first time, in Singapore Technologies Kinetics and SITEX.

Earned my first dollar and spends it still like opening a water tap? Hee!

Completed my first-ever voluntary work in SCSM 08 from 2am to 2pm!

Completed 5 years of  all-rounding education in CHR.

Geeked together with these people for 3 to 5 years.

Thank you 2008.
2008 was full of suprises. However, i know that much more things are lining up for 2009.

To everyone, Merry New Year.
Enjoy the holidays and maybe your last day of 2008 is full of fun and joy!
Let's all look forward for a better 2009!

Thank you everyone~

[Actually, this is a summary of my blog for the year 2008, haha!]

iPod Nano 4th Gen~

Finally, after many arduous decision making, i had gotten the 8gb 4th Generation iPod nano. (incase you didn't know, my first nano went on some holiday trip in the bus.)

At least, now i can travel with music? There is something that can keep me company when i'm out. Hope that this is worthwhile. Spending your hard earned money is totally very saddening. Cause we worked so hard to earn it, we can spend it easily in a minute.

New year is just 3 more days away.
Enjoy the last moment of 2008!

I'll be scripting a 2008 roundup post~
Do check back soon.

All bout Work.

Oh, hi people!

Was too busy at work until that i had no time to blog, or rather i had nothing to blog cause my life is always the same.

Recently, i started re-reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and till now, i'm half way throught the Deathly Hallows. Its fairly exciting cause the movie is screening soon, thus i'm just reading HBP back to see if they changes any of the story like how they did in Order of the Phoenix.

However, working is so boring. I didn't had enough sleep everyday. Luckily that i didn't doze off during work else if my boss sees it, i'll be will lol-ed. Nevertheless, we student are sort of like cheap labour that does everything. Everything that we can, we have to do it. Argh!

Money isn't that easy to earn.

Okay, i'm done. I'll try to script another post sooooon...

Christmas is just 5 days away,
New Year following in 12 days!
